Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She is best known for her character Skyler White on The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio, where she continued her interest in performing on stage. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, she was a frequent guest on TV and in films, such as Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. The mid-2000's saw her was given the role of Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was also one of her characters. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad's story is usually dependent on the relationships that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is similar to Walter White's dying days.
